Andona Fellowship

The Opportunity:

Andona is seeking a fellow from January to June 2026. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in pursuing a career in nonprofits, development, education, politics or marketing. Both graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to apply. The position may also be ideal for candidates looking to reenter the workforce and gain more current experience.

Applicant Skills

• Strong communication & marketing skills including use of social media platforms
• Digital skills - may be asked to help digitize historical documents
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group
• Leadership skills and ability to take initiative
• Experience working with nonprofits is a plus but not a requirement

Fellowship Tasks 

• Preferred attendance at all Andona General Membership, Board & Clown Town meetings (approximately 8-10 meetings). Meetings are held on Tuesday and Sunday nights.
• Create social media content and manage social media pages
• Work at Clown Town the third weekend in May
• Preferred attendance at the annual scholarship dinner (typically the first Thursday night in June)

This position offers a stipend of up to $2,000 

About Andona:

Andona began in the spring of 1952 when a group of Andover women came together to form The Andona Society with the spirit of giving to varied causes in Andover. Andona got its name by combining "An" for Andover with "Dona" which is the Latin word for give. Today we are a non-profit organization made up of volunteers with the purpose of raising money to support Andover youth through grants, scholarships and camperships.
