Andona Fellowship

Application

Andona is seeking a fellow for the 2024-25 year (10/2024 - 6/2025) to bring fresh perspectives to our organization through assisting the Board and its committees in a number of areas. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in pursuing a career in nonprofits, development, education, politics or marketing. Both graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to apply. The position may also be ideal for candidates looking to reenter the workforce and gain more current experience.

Applicant Skills

Strong communication & marketing skills including use of social media platforms
Digital skills - may be asked to help digitize historical documents
Strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group
Comfort with fundraising including approaching businesses
Leadership skills and ability to take initiative
Experience working with nonprofits and grant writing experience is a plus but not a requirement

Fellowship Tasks (Estimated to be 10-15 hours per month)

Attend all Andona General Membership, Board & Clown Town meetings (approximately 12 meetings in total with General Membership and Board meetings held on Tuesday nights)
Create social media content and manage social media pages
Identify fundraising opportunities
Work at Clown Town the third weekend in May
Research grants & coordinate grant applications
Document Andona roles & tasks
Attend scholarship dinner in June (typically the first Thursday night)

This position offers a stipend of up to $4,000 for the term identified (10/2024 - 6/2025)
